Help track COVID
We want the Bay Area to re-open safely.
With your help we can gather the information we need to keep us safe from COVID-19 in the months ahead.
Can I participate?
The study sign-up has closed.
Let’s keep the Bay Area healthy together.
Here’s how you can help
We have randomly selected households within the Bay Area to participate in monthly testing. You qualify if you meet the following:
- Your household has been selected
- You are the adult (18 or older) in your household with the next birthday
Not sure if your household has been selected? Check your mail for an invitation to participate from the Track COVID study.
Who we are
With the support of our local departments of public health, UCSF, Stanford, and the Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) have launched this public health effort to closely monitor COVID-19 infection rates within the Bay Area. This study is vital in providing data to local decision makers to inform a safe step down from shelter in place.
Benefit to you
You will receive …
- Results to your COVID-19 swab and antibody tests each month
- Information about what the test results mean for you
- Compensation for your time with a $25 gift card for each study visit completed
And you can feel proud knowing that you helped minimize the spread of this devastating virus.
What the study requires
Each month through December 2020, we will ask you to …
- Complete a short survey
- Come to a local testing site for a nasal swab and blood draw
For more details, see the study snapshot.
This collaboration was formed to address the needs of our community by using science to inform policy.
